![]() ![]() MKII Unlimited is pretty much MKII Genesis with the following things changed.ġ. Recent versions also have had extra stages from MK1/2 inserted, like the living forest and the courtyard and other's like that. (Only one that's not there is MK3 Noob cause he was just a black Kano) (also MKT Johnny Cage is there) UMKT has every character from MK1/2/3/umk3 in it as well as all the secret ones who all have their own fatalities/friendships/endings/etc. What features/additions do Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Mortal Kombat II Unlimited have? The controls also have a noticeable delay to them, making for an overall frustrating experience. ![]() For example, if I use Sub-Zero's Freeze first and then Liu Kang uses his Fireball, the Freeze will hit Liu Kang and his projectile will disappear causing it to not hit me. When two players throw projectiles in the SNES version, depending on who used the projectile first will determine if the other character will get hit. If two players used projectile attacks at the same time in the arcade version, the projectiles would pass through each other and hit both characters. Mortal Kombat on the SNES could have been good if the game designers didn't screw around with the gameplay I'm not just talking about the blood being changed to sweat. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and MK3 are good, however I prefer UMK3 because of the increased number of gameplay features and characters. It also has a cool team battle mode which is accessible with a code. ![]() When you uppercut your opponent into the pit in the Pit II stage, the background will rotate slightly before the opponent hits the ground the rotating movement was not present in the arcade version. The SNES port also added some features that were not in the arcade game. Sure, some small things like the opening story art and the pillars in the Portal stage are gone, but it is still excellent. I'd say Mortal Kombat II is the best SNES port because it has nearly everything that the arcade version had. ![]()
